Either there are a lot of closet Trekkies out there, or this really is a great movie. RottenTomatoes gives this new Star Trek movie 95%! My hubby and I went to see it today and it was so much fun! It really has everything you want in a movie, humor, action, good acting and amazing visual stimulation. I am not a movie critic by any means, but I highly recommend this movie. It's worth going to the theatre to see it because I just don't think it will carry across as visually striking on a small screen at home. It was 2 hours of non-stop fun and I only wish I could afford to do it every weekend that it's on, I would see it more than once, twice...three...you get the idea. I also plan to buy the DVD which I do not do. I really want to see the bonus footage. Go see it if you can!

What a great movie!

I fully agree. Lance and I loved it! The casting was very good, and each actor brought many things to the roll from the original actors. They must have really studies the old footage. It is a must see! (Chris's cousin, Zachery, played the roll of Spock beautifully.)
