Not asleep at 3 am

I should be asleep. Tzipi and Avi are. (Zee's at a slumber party, so I'm not sure he's sleeping.)
No fair.
Thankfully it is Saturday so I can rest, but I have a bunch of things I need to do.
In case you were wondering, I've not been well the past few weeks. Ever since I got the shingles, I guess. So I went to the doctor and am waiting on lab tests. After we see what interesting things my blood says, we'll check out several options, MRI, nerve tests, and whatever else they suggest. The doctor gave me some pain medicine just to get me through the week.
I'm grateful that my job isn't physically demanding. I'm grateful I have so many praying friends and family members. I'm grateful I'm not alone. I'm grateful I have internet. I'm grateful I have insurance. I'm grateful I have transportation and fuel. I'm grateful I live in America. And finally, I'm grateful that this too shall pass.
I'll keep posting and let you know when I know something.
I think I'll eat something and try to go back to sleep.

  1. I was up at 5:00AM, but I'm about to hit the day running. The animals are fed, all 12 of the goats, all 22 chickens, both the ducks, the dog and the cat! Of yes, me too. I watered the garden and washed my dishes. Am planning on going to the other house and playing with scrapbooking all day. May even get a nap in over there!

You are definitely being prayed for. Love you more than words can express and deeds can show.

  2. Praying for you sweet girl! Keep me posted.

  3. We will be praying as well. Love you all.

  4. I'm sorry about all your problems. I know that shingles can cause serious problems. I still have terrible pain in my left foot all the time as a result of the shingles. My immune system was wrecked, and has never been completely recovered yet and I had it several years ago. It also caused my fibromyalgia to get worse, and I am not in pain pretty much all the time rather than sparodically as I was before the shingles. I was hoping you would not have any kind of permanent damage. I pray that G-d will give you the answers you need so you can get better soon. Love Ya! Eema
