My Mom bought me a subscription to Scrapbooks ETC! I giggled like a school girl when my hubby showed me that my first magazine came today! It's the April edition which means June/July is coming soon. I have it right here next to my lap but I'm not going to open it until the kids go to sleep. And I will read every word of it! Cover to cover! I so rarely buy magazines so it's such a treat!!! Thanks MOM! You rock!
Hey, I got mine today too. I called you to see if you'd gotten yours but your phone was off. So yeah, now we both have it and can enjoy all the great ideas. Fun in a magazine. I can hardly wait for my Cricut to come.

I am looking forward to doing more scrapbooking this summer. I got somewhat discouraged when I had worked on sorting, cropping, organizing, and putting pages together for a year and had to throw everything into trash bags to save it from the flood. I have just never had the heart to try to start again. Everything is still just thrown together. I have looked at a few pictures in the years since the flood, and I am thankful that I was able to save everything. But, I just have not got started again. I have been buying paper, design cutting scissors, and embellishments for about 6 months now, and do plan to work on things this summer.
